During my academic and professional career I have been involved in a wide range of projects, from creating an online and interactive education module about sustainability, to developing Living Business Models for new ventures. In 2013 I graduated with a bachelor in Sociology and Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin, after which I decided to explore a more technical direction by enrolling in the European Masters in System Dynamics. This was a formative experience that opened my mind to the power of operational thinking. It also made me realise that simulation modelling can be far easier and more intuitive than most people realise. As such, one of my core goals at Loops is to help startups utilise the power of simulation models by making them simple to understand and fun to engage with.
